Chieftain 3200X Jacket

• Newly redesigned 4” high contoured collar features rounded edges for extra comfort. Four-ply overlapping construction provides extra protection against heat, flame and water intrusion.
• Throat tab redesigned to overlap collar and eliminate gaps at throat. Completely covers top of storm flap. Includes Velcro closures.
• “Active Back” permits full range of arm motion without resistance; contoured sleeves follow the natural bending and flexing of the arms. Three-piece body panel construction improves comfort and insures proper fit. These ease-of-motion features make the Chieftain 3200X one of the most comfortable suits available; another Chieftain quality exclusive.
• New “Ara-Fill” padded insulation on shoulder area provides greater protection against pressure burns. Makes load bearing on shoulders more comfortable.
• Upper back and shoulder reinforcements: An extra layer of shell material is added on the shoulders and upper back area to further increase thermal protection and garment service life.
• Double-sleeve wells with two-ply Kevlar wristlets insure dryness in wrist and lower arm area. Full 6” deep construction keeps water out. Thumb openings on wristlets prevent “ride up” when raising arms and insure positive overlap between gloves and wristlets. Cuffs are reinforced with Ara-Shield for increased garment service life.
• Liner attachment system fits under collar creating a virtual collar-liner overlap that positively prevents water intrusion. Removable liner secured with dome snaps for ease of installation and removal. Dual purpose Hand-Warmer & Cargo parachute-style pockets. Virtually two pockets in one, featuring one compartment to warm your hands plus another separate heavy duty compartment for carrying tools. Tool pocket compartments are lined with ballistic Kevlar for safety against cuts and punctures, and to provide years of trouble-free rugged wear.
• Universal bellowed radio pocket measures 2”x 3-1/4” x 9”, is inside-lined with ballistic Kevlar for long term durability. Pocket cover designed for both, left and right mounted antennas.
• Extra Loops - Microphone Loop, PASS Alarm Loop and Hang-up Loop for safety and convenience. Inside Liner Pocket: Large 7” x 9” pocket lined with moisture barrier to keep contents safe from outside water, as well as perspiration.
• All reflective trim consists of NFPA approved 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material. Three-inch triple trim is used exclusively in the “NYC-style” pattern which exceeds reflective trim design requirements of NFPA 1971 Standard, providing greater visibility and safety.
• All stress points are bar-tacked for extra strength. All critical seams are double-stitched.

Chieftain 3200X Jacket Pants

• Lumbar protection panel: Three-layer, raised-back panel provides ample overlap protection when bending. Provides extra padding for bearing SCBA weight more comfortably.
• Take-up straps: Two, one on each side, easily adjustable with quick-release postman slides, allow four-inch range of waist adjustment.
• Inner waistband, made of shell material, provides extra comfort, prevents chafing and serves to further insulate external metallic components, such as suspender buttons, from skin contact.
• Expansion-knee, specifically designed to provide extra fullness through contoured bellows action in outer shell and liner; enhances freedom of knee movement when crawling, crouching and climbing.
• Gusseted crotch provides ease of crouching and reinforces high stress area of pants.
• Slanted fly flap, lined with vapor and thermal barrier for extra protection, features Velcro plus a Hook and Dee and a dome snap for secure closure.
• Eight rust-resistant suspender buttons accommodate standard “H-style” suspenders.
• Four-piece body panel construction permits full cut patterning, providing extra room in seat and thigh areas for improved comfort and fit.
• Two large 10” x 10” x 2” bellows-style expansion cargo pockets provide ample room for tools and equipment, include two drainage eyelets on each pocket. Pockets are inside-lined with ballistic Kevlar for safety against cuts and punctures and to provide years of trouble-free rugged wear.
• Knee Reinforcements: Knees are reinforced with full 9” x 12” patches of Ara-shield, an effective, liquid-penetration-proof and puncture-resistant coated Kevlar. Provides effective protection against sharp objects when kneeling or crawling, and adds years to the useful service life of the garment.
• Comfort Knee Pads: Built-in comfort knee pad pockets are provided on the inside of the pants leg. These top-opening pockets are designed to accept Chieftain’s exclusive slip-in/ removable comfort pads; greatly enhancing comfort when kneeling and crawling and adding further to the thermal insulation and liquid penetration resistance of the critical knee areas. • Reflective Trim: Three-inch wide triple trim around legs exclusively of 3M™ Scotchlite™ Reflective Material.
• Cuffs are reinforced with heavy duty, doubled over (4-ply), Ara-Shield for extreme durability. Reverse boot cut prevents stepping on cuffs.
